Welcome to youqueen. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website www.youqueen.nl and any purchases you make from us. By accessing or using our site and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1.1 Who we are

1.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use our services. By placing an order you confirm you are at least 18 and legally capable of entering a binding contract.

1.3 Orders & Acceptance

  • All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by youqueen.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order for reasons including product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.
  • Where we cannot accept an order, we will notify you and refund any amounts paid.

1.4 Pricing & Payment

  • Prices are displayed in EUR and include VAT where applicable.
  • We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout (credit/debit card, PayPal, IDEAL or other providers).
  • You are responsible for providing accurate billing and shipping information.

1.5 Shipping & Delivery

  • Standard EU shipping: typically 2–6 business days.
  • Free EU shipping for orders within EU.
  • Delivery times are estimates only; we do not accept liability for delivery delays caused by carriers, customs or force majeure.
  • For international (non-EU) orders, customers may be liable for customs duties and local taxes.
  • Ownership of the products passes to you once your payment has been received in full. For consumers in the EU, the risk of loss or damage to the goods remains with us until the goods are delivered to you (or a person designated by you). For orders shipped outside the EU, risk transfers to you once we hand over the goods to the carrier (if you select an independent carrier, risk transfers upon handover to that carrier).

1.6 Returns & Refunds

  • We offer a 14-day return period from delivery for most items (see Exceptions below). Items must be returned in original condition with all packaging and inserts.
  • To initiate a return, contact support@youqueen.nl with your order number.
  • Return shipping costs may apply unless the return is due to our error or a defective item.
  • Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days after we receive the returned items.
    Exceptions: Custom-made, engraved, or personalized pieces, and items marked “final sale” are non-returnable unless faulty.

1.7 Warranty & Repairs

  • We provide a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects (broken clasps, defective settings, etc.).
  • Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage from misuse, loss, or exposure to chemicals.
  • For repairs, please contact support@youqueen.nl for instructions and a repair estimate.

1.8 Product Information & Accuracy

  • We try to ensure product descriptions, images and specifications are accurate. Slight variations in natural materials (pearl shape, color, surface) are normal and part of the product’s uniqueness.
  • Colors may vary slightly due to monitor settings.

1.9 Intellectual Property

  • All site content (text, images, logos, designs) is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not use our content without prior written permission.

1.10 Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, youqueen is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant order.

1.11 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands and applicable EU law.
  • For EU consumers, local consumer protection rules apply. We will always seek to resolve disputes amicably; if not possible, disputes may be subject to the courts of the Netherlands (unless mandatory local consumer law states otherwise).

1.12 Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date will indicate changes. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
